Microsoft Security Releases ISO Image August 2009

This DVD5 ISO image file contains the security updates for Windows released on Windows Update on August 11th, 2009. The image does not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. This DVD5 ISO image is intended for administrators that need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and that do not use an automated solution such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). You can use this ISO image to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time.

With IntelliPoint mouse software, you can customize the unique features of your Microsoft mouse to fit your needs. Preinstall Internet Explorer 8 into Windows XP/Vista Installation DVD

Microsoft provides a guide to preinstall Windows Internet Explorer 8, as well as any additional Internet components on earlier operating systems that are supported. The document also provides a list of unattended settings that can be used to automate configuration and deployment of Internet Explorer 8.

How To Slipstream IE8 to Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003/2008

  1. Install the Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK) that matches your local computer configuration. The Windows AIK version should not match the image into which you will be slipstreaming Internet Explorer 8.
    Note: You cannot use a 64-bit version of the Windows AIK with a Windows Vista x86 image.
  2. Copy the Windows Vista installation directory from the DVD to your local computer.

Microsoft officially unveiled its Windows Mobile 6.5 Developer Tool Kit for Windows Mobile developers. Windows mobile developers who are involved in developing applications for Windows Mobile 6.5 can download a copy from Microsoft download center. The released tool kit adds documentation, sample code, header and library files, emulator images and tools to Visual Studio.

The Windows Mobile 6.5 Developer Tool Kit comes with the following Emulator Images:

Microsoft My Phone Beta Online Service Available for Free Mobile Data Backup

How often do you backup your data stored in Windows Mobile devices? Now Microsoft offers a free online storage space named as Microsoft My Phone Beta that allows Windows Mobile users to synchronize information for backup and restore in a well-protected storage space at no charge.

The online service is able to store any personal information such as contacts, text messages, appointments, documents, photos and even video clips. Simply login the My Phone account to access, upload personal data through simple GUI websites with up to 200MB. You can also share photos with family members either through email or web services.
