Helio announced its Helio Player, serving as a replacement to the Helio Media Mover. It offers an iTunes like layout; however unlike iTunes, the Helio Player is not multi-platform and work only with Windows. The Helio Player will work with the Fin, Drift, Heat and Ocean although some features are exclusive to the Ocean.

Users will be able to:

• Download copies of songs that were purchased on their device.
• Buy music that can be played on their PC and device.
• Gift songs to a friend.
• Beg for a song from a friend.
• Manage and play your music and videos.
• Manage and view your pictures.
• Transfer music or videos to your Heat, Drift or Fin.
• Transfer music, video or pictures to and from your Ocean.
• Transfer music from subscription services to include Napster, eMusic, Yahoo! Music.
